Esty
Los Angeles native, Estevan Ramos, has been involved in the Fashion world more than half his life.
His schooling went from Architecture to Fashion where he graduated from L.A.'s FIDM. It is here where he received some of his first memorable recognitions in fashion design and illustrating, from participating in competitions in Paris and Tokyo, being written in Vogue while in school to receiving the coveted Bob Mackie scholarship award for design.
After graduating FIDM, he continued to work as a full-time designer and design director for numerous contemporary clothing lines. After many ventures in design, trend forecasting and merchandising, he branched off on his own in 1994 to produce a clothing line under his own name. The line was sold worldwide from Barneys and Nordstroms to Beams, Tokyo and Roz Clarke, London. He continued the collection until 2004 when he decided to put the line on hold to pursue more exciting opportunities.
During production of his namesake line, he started to collaborate with many wardrobe stylists for music, celebrity and photo shoots. This brought another dimension of his career where he sought out the direction of styling, custom designing, branding and consulting. From being the Fashion director for DIC Entertainment on the cartoon series Trollz to designing tour and performance wardrobe from Gwen Stefani with No Doubt to Rihanna, his passion for fashion blossomed into new horizons. He has worked with some of the top clothing and product companies for ad campaigns and photo shoots from Ann Taylor Loft to Fossil Inc.
At the moment, he works as Wardrobe Stylist, Fashion Designer/Consultant, Tailor and Lecturer for numerous Clothing Brands, Stylists and Schools. His knowledge of garment construction - tailoring, trend forecasting, styling, illustrating and brand conception has made him a unique fixture in the Fashion and Advertising world. He loves the opportunity to collaborate with other like creative minds to develop some of the world's most memorable inspirational moments.
